Day 6: Butchered English

Another installment of Butchered English On T-Shirts (And Some Other Places Too)!!! There is a sign on the wall in our shower that we find very amusing.  (This hotel room kind of resembles some sort of fancy victorian sitting room that has been in disuse for fifty years.  Picture that decaying, decadent room in the Matrix where Keanu is offered the pills.  Expensive wallpaper peeling down the walls, rich threadbare carpet.  That sort of thing.  Though I don’t think anything here was actually ever expensive or rich.)

Scald carefully.  It’s just good sense.

    Definitely not expensive or rich.

I need to find a website that makes metal signs or commission on etsy to make a “scald carefully” sign for me to hang in my kitchen, because the waterthat comes out of the kitchen sink is YOWSA hot.

This is pretty sweet Steve! I say F the law game; you should become a travel writer. I could see your ‘Battered Leather Journal’ series next to the Lonely Planet guides at Barnes and Noble. Anyway, your postings always make me smile and your pics are pretty damn fantastic too.

I agree with Cousin J, be a travel writer. This is an amazing site with beautiful pics and great stories. Take off again and bring the leather journal.
